Aquafilter FCCA (manufacturer: Poland, EU) is one of the most popular and effective carbon filters on the market. It uses NSF-certified coconut husk granulated activated carbon (GAC).

The unique design of this cartridge ensures water movement from bottom to top (longitudinal flow). This increases the contact time of water with the carbon, which leads to the removal of impurities and maximum adsorption (absorption and filtration). The polypropylene layer (post-filter pad) integrated at the bottom of the cartridge reliably retains carbon particles and prevents them from entering the water.

What does it filter?

Chlorine and its compounds: removes 99% of free chlorine.

Organic compounds: removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), certain pesticides (up to 85%), solvents and benzene.
